I purchased a Vinyl Plank Flooring from the Shelley Alexanian Line. Even thought I had issues with the purchase the Mangers of the Store in Ottawa Tony and Marie Khoury were amazing and resolved all my issues. Marie is a Gem and is all about good Customer Service. Extremely Friendly and her Husband is the same. Now lets talk installation. OMG I had the Cream of the CROP, the DREAM installation team and I would want them for any other flooring install I would ever do. I had Charlie and Frank. AMAZING is not enough and no words can say how professional and wonderful these guys were. Total Perfectionists and so neat and clean. They treated my home like it was theirs. There are no two better installers in my mind. Next Floor I would go back to Alexanian Ottawa and request MY DREAM TEAM INSTALLERS, Charlie and Frank Thank you so much

Broadloom, area rugs, flooring, and window coverings in all price ranges. I am not surprised that they are very successful in this competitive industry.

As I continually work with Matt at the Dundas street showroom, I am impressed with the product knowledge he has with not only flooring, area rugs, window coverings and maintenance. I assist many client from Bermuda and have great success in providing Canadian made window coverings and a good selection of high end area rugs and broadloom. My clients recently visited Toronto on a buying trip and were amazed at the selection and prices of some of the following: Stanton broadloom, Calvin Klein area rugs and Seventh Ave window coverings. With the tremendous task of removing a vinyl floor, modifying a Marble entry way and installing over various areas, Matt Barrett patiently provided my clients with the perfect solution. The product, a Mammut 12ml oak was not only the correct colour, wearability factor but also the correct height to minimize the various flooring heights. Very pleased with the New Carpet Installation. Two installers Izzet and Muza who came to do the work were very professional and knowledgeable. They did the work meticulously and efficiently . Completely to my satisfaction. Also the customer service provided by the manager Steve and Mike at head office was excellent. After some initial dissatisfaction on my part they went above and beyond to satisfy me . I am happy with my carpet now . Thank you .

After an agreement that was made with the manager Tony to fix my hardwood floor that buckled in my dinning room, I was reassured he would take care of it. Finally, they came to do the job. After the installer arrived he commented that I had AC running which was a good thing (for humidity), when they ripped up the hardwood he asked me about a gap in the floor exposing the hardwood to the basement just above the laundry room and hot water tank basically the unfinished part of the basement and exactly where the hardwood buckled.. coincidence!? This is where things go wrong, I now get a call from Alexanian’s after the hardwood is all ripped up in my dinning room saying I owe $700 + tax because it was my fault that the problem was from humidity levels in the house. I’m now in shock…This was not agreed upon prior to the job. If I didn’t pay, he said he would not finish the job and walk out on me! I said, I feel like this is entrapment! He did not measure the humidity level in the house prior to the work being done just decided half way through the job it was my fault. I was right there with him when he started the job and said nothing to me! He claims it was not the gap in the floor that was the problem. If so, then there should have been a price agreed upon before they started the job if he already knew it was a humidity problem. I think he did not leave enough of a gap against the wall for the wood to expand and does not want to take the blame. I talked to Tony the store manager, he plays nice guy and talks in circles but will not pay me back my money. So much for their word it means nothing. What they say and what they do are two separate things.

We got 5 star treatment from Alexanians when we ordered and had our main floor tiled, and two other rooms carpeted. The install was great with the exception of the transition from the kitchen floor to the family room. When the transition split Alexanians took 6 months of texting to order and install the new transition. Once it was installed we noticed that it was not the same as the tile as we had ordered before. After getting in touch with them multiple times we are told that they could order in the transitions but cannot be guaranteed that the transition will match, even if we supply the tile product number that they installed. They would have the transition part number from the one in the front hall that matches perfectly. We are close to a year and it doesn't see, like after us spending close to $15,000 they want to make this right. Great products, great installation, just don't understand not wanting to get the job done right. Andy

In Jan 2023 had a laminate floor installed in my condo by Alexanian in Newmarket. Dust was unbelievable but I handled that. However the installer did a terrible job of the quarter round, using old wood, not applying everywhere and doing a terrible job on the corners. A year later and 2 boards have chipped. Their solution------just seal the chips. I can still see them and it upsets me every time.

My wife and I entered the Store on Saturday September 30th between 4:30 and 5:00 we left the store feeling, clearly they don't need our business. Alexanian was the 3rd store we looked at for an Area Rug. They had, by far, the largest selection. We spent close to 15 minutes browsing without anyone even acknowledging we were in the store. When the salesman appeared (can't use a name because we think he was a salesman) he answered a question, that wasn't asked, and went back to the the back of the store. We ended up buying rugs from each from the other two stores. Probably explains why the parking lot was empty.
